ASL classes participate in the annual ASL Silent Weekend
Over the weekend, students from American Sign Language I through IV classes had the opportunity to attend the ASL Silent Weekend held in Big Bear. The students spent the entire weekend without speaking and instead, relied on speaking using the sign language that they have learned in class.
Track team competes at the Santa Margarita High School Eagle Invitational
The track team competed on Saturday at the Eagle Invitational hosted by Santa Margarita High School. All the teams competed at this meet which was also attended by St. John Bosco, Newport Harbor, Notre Dame High School, Esperanza, and St. Joseph.
Mater Dei theatre performs Shakespeare in the Grotto
Opening on Thursday and finishing Saturday night, the theatre program performed the Shakespeare play “Love’s Labour’s Lost” for the annual Shakespeare in the Grotto. Due to weather circumstances, this year the play was hosted in the Monarch Pavilion.
