ASB replaces shadow program with Meet A Monarch

Due to the current pandemic, the Scarlet Ambassador and Alumni & Advancement commissions have started a weekly zoom call called Meet A Monarch to replace the shadow program for the fall semester. Potential students attend a zoom meeting with four ASB commissioners and one moderator and are given the opportunity to ask any questions they might have about what it is like to attend the school. The commissioners discuss topics on campus life, electives, athletics, academics, and performing arts.

Weight room welcomes athletes during school day

Athletes are now allowed to weight lift before or after school, depending on when their team is scheduled. Rather than the block class schedule, teams are given time slots throughout the week where they lift for an hour. The student athletes are then given the option to either leave campus or stay under the Bristol parking lot tents if they have a.m. lifting and p.m. classes.

Counseling hosts college application workshops

The next session will be this Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
