Due to the fires last week, the Candlelight Vigil Prayer Service for Respect Life Month has been rescheduled to 5 p.m. on Thursday. The prayer service will take place in the Grotto along with a coin drive. The change that is collected in the coin drive will be donated to homes for unwed mothers.
Tie dye shirt and jeans dress on Friday
On Friday, students are encouraged to wear tie dye shirts and jeans for ‘November is Cool’ to kick off the month of November. Mater Dei has spirit dress most Fridays to promote school spirit and allow students free dress once a week.
Typically, spirit dress is for games and events, but due to the postponed sports season Mater Dei ASB has had to get creative with the spirit dress themes. This month, there is ‘November is Cool’ spirit dress, ‘Weekend of Plays’ spirit dress which is on Nov. 13, and ‘Getting Ready for Vacation’ spirit dress which is on Nov. 20 where students wear Hawaiian shirts and jeans to celebrate Thanksgiving Break.
Your donation will support the Student Publications Department at Mater Dei High School. Your contribution will allow us to keep our equipment up to date and cover our annual website hosting costs.
