Halloween is a time for dressing up, trick-or-treating and haunted houses! Most teenagers love the adrenaline rush of a good scare anytime. Although, the best time of the year to get your scare on is this time of year. These houses are not a theme park like Knott’s Scary Farm or Universal Studio’s Horror Nights. Enjoy these unique, haunted, and terrifying houses.


1. Knott’s Scary Farm Annual Halloween Haunt

Rides are transformed into scary Halloween rides
There are more than 1,000 monsters roaming around in the designated scare zones.

2. Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor

Come visit the recreation of the legendary Queen Mary made into a haunted attraction
The Captain is the head ghost of The Queen Mary, who is followed by his army of spirits who haunt dark harbor.

3. Cemetery of Lost Souls

The Cemetery of Lost Souls is a very popular and scary haunted house in Yorba Linda.

This terrifying haunted house is put on by United Studios of Self Defense in Yorba Linda.

4. 17th Door Haunted House

The 17th Door Haunted House lets you experience 17 terrifying rooms over the course of 30 mins. A creative, original, physiological thriller which will surprise you at every turn.
It is roughly $26 for a regular ticket and $35 dollars for a VIP Pass.

5. Evil Willy’s Candy Factory

This remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory puts a haunted twist on your favorite childhood movie. Enter into the different cities rooms to find your golden ticket! Find the ticket, make it through all rooms, and you will have completed the haunted house!
