Student Pubs in Boston

This week students in yearbook and newspaper will be in Boston for the National Scholastic Press Association high school journalism convention! They’ll be exploring Boston and its history, while attending sessions on writing, photography, social media, news, diversity and more. They left Wednesday, Nov. 1 and will return Sunday, Nov. 5. Wishing them safe travels and an enjoyable trip.

CIF Games

This week there will be several CIF games! Varsity Boys’ Water Polo will be playing this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Varsity Girls’ Golf also competes on Thursday followed by Varsity Football and Girls’ Tennis Friday, and lastly Varsity Girls’ Volleyball Saturday.

Day of the Dead

Day of the Dead is a holiday where families celebrate and honor their passed loved ones. It is believed that on this day the living world and spirit world are united and that the souls of the dead visit the living world to see their families. It begins on Nov. 1 and ends Nov. 2.
