On Feb 1., Mater Dei held an all-school Mass in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. The student body was blessed to once again welcome Father Michael Nguyen’09 as the Presider. Many of the alumni faculty and staff also participated as various ministers in the Mass. Mater Dei was blessed to have the mayor of Santa Ana attend and give a speech honoring the school to the student body and faculty. 

Scarlett Scroll Managing Editor Charlotte De Leon received a shoutout during Mass along with Preston Jensen for phenomenal speeches during the Junior Transformed retreat at the Diocese of Orange. The two shared a bit about their faith to the many Catholic school students in attendance. We are proud to see our students sharing and taking an active role in their faith!
