This past Sunday was Mater Dei’s Winter Formal. It was held at the Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel, where students enjoyed an expansive buffet, danced and played arcade games with their classmates.
Thanks to the Winter Formal, there was no school Monday! Hope all Monarchs had a nice three-day weekend.
This weekend many of our athletic teams are participating in CIF playoffs. Varsity girls soccer, varsity girls water polo, varsity boys soccer, and varsity boys basketball will all be competing. Alongside them will be individual championships for varsity wrestling. Check Mater Dei’s event calendar to see when and where games will be held, go Monarchs!
