Emergency Drill 

On Monday, Sept. 16, an emergency drill took place at Mater Dei High School from 10:30 to 11:20 a.m. All students were evacuated to the football field as part of the practice. The drill went well and reminded everyone of the safety rules and procedures. All students were safely gathered, and the drill finished as planned.

Mid-Autumn Festival

On Sept. 17, during upper and lower lunch, the annual Mid-Autumn Festival will be celebrated in Shamrock Plaza . Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival in Chinese and other Asian cultures on the 15th of the 8th month of the Chinese calendar. 

Club Rush

On Sept. 17 – 18 during upper and lower lunch booths will be set up to promote clubs at Mater Dei. Club Rush is a time to review and shop the extensive list of clubs on the school’s campus. New clubs are formed every year and offer a variety of avenues to meet the interests of all students. Participating in clubs enables students to connect with others, make new friends, build lasting memories, and develop skills in teamwork, leadership, and creativity. The club presidents will be at the booths to promote their club and its goals, and recruit new members.
