Freshman Tailgate:
Last Friday, Sept. 20, the Freshman Tailgate was held at the parking garage adjacent to the Santa Ana Bowl from 5:00-6:30. Chick-fil-A was served, raffle prizes were won, and fun games were played during the event. These students demonstrated their school spirit and supported the Mater Dei Football Team before and during the neon-themed game against Saint Francis. The Monarchs won the game with a final score of 25-14.
Flex Day:
Wednesday, Sept. 25, will be the first Flex Day of the year from 9:45 a.m. – noon. This is a day dedicated to students who want one-to-one time with their teachers to receive homework help or for test make-up and retakes. This day helps students feel more academically prepared for the rest of the fall semester. Students who do not need extra help are not required to come to school.
V Girls Golf vs Santa Margarita:
The Varsity Girls Golf Team will be contending against Santa Margarita at 3:30 p.m. at the Mile Square Golf Course on Sept. 23. The Monarchs have had great success so far in this season and are determined to continue their winning streak. Come support these athletes by attending their matches!
