V Girls Tennis vs. JSerra
On Oct. 22, the Varsity Girls Tennis Team took on J Serra at the Fountain Valley Tennis Center. It was an important match in the Trinity League. Mater Dei won 10-8 due to a clinical performance by junior Anna Cherico, who won all three of her matches in singles. Senior Olivia Mlouk followed in her footsteps sweeping her singles matches. Sophomore Persa Donaldson and Junior Bella Strickland won the deciding match to cinch the tie and bring the final score to 10-8. A nice win for the Varsity Girls Tennis Team to celebrate along with their Senior Night, commending all the seniors that helped over the years to get the team to where it is now.
