Thanksgiving Outreach:

This week is Thanksgiving Outreach held by Campus Ministry. The point of the drive is to gather food for those who are less fortunate. To help these families you can bring any grocery store gift cards, or non-perishables. The deadline to contribute has been extended to Nov. 20. Please be sure to bring in your donations.. 

 Girls Volleyball State:

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, Girls Varsity Volleyball won the first round of state in a close game taking three sets to two against Torrey Pines. The team is now going into the second round of state playing against Sierra Canyon. The game is being held on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the MAC. We hope to see the student body out there supporting Girls Volleyball!

Signing Day:

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, some of the senior athletes at Mater Dei signed to their colleges to continue their athletic and academic journey. There were students from many different sports from baseball, to volleyball, to swimming and diving. For students who attended, it was inspiring to see players from their sport following their athletic abilities to the next level. “After watching some girls from varsity volleyball sign to D1 schools, I now want to follow my dream and continue my sport to the next level,” said sophomore Sylvie Ceran.
