Classes Resume: 

On Monday, Jan. 6, classes resumed for all students after the long winter break. After a couple weeks off to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s, students stepped into the rhythm of school to finish off the year strong. Senior Lauren Fernandez, a member of both Mater Dei’s Choir and Theatre programs, is excited for the performances and trips that await this upcoming semester. “I’m really looking forward to all of our upcoming performances in both choir and theatre,” Fernandez said. “We have some exciting events and trips planned that are sure to make this semester memorable.”

Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Servite:

On Wednesday, Jan. 8, the Varsity Boys Soccer Team will compete against Servite at the Friar’s home field. The game will begin at 3:15 p.m. Come out and support your fellow Monarchs!

Boys Water Polo Banquet:

On Wednesday, Jan. 8, the Boys Water Polo Banquet will take place at 6 p.m. in the Levecke Center. Congratulations to the athletes of Boys Water Polo for their hard work and well-deserved accomplishments this season!
