Catholic Schools Week:

This week, Mater Dei is celebrating the annual Catholic Schools’ Week. Catholic Schools’ Week is a national observance that commemorates schools dedicated towards the Catholic faith and the influence these institutions have. This year’s theme is United in Faith and Community and each day will focus on one of the various groups that make up our MD Community. Students can thoughtfully observe this week by being an active member during Mass and recognizing the adults who make Mater Dei so special.

Girls Varsity Basketball vs. Santa Margarita:

On Tuesday, Jan. 28, the Mater Dei Girls Varsity Basketball Team will face off in an intense match against Santa Margarita High School in the Meruelo Athletic Center at 6 p.m. Come cheer on and support your fellow Monarchs in this demonstration of athletic excellence!

Boys Varsity Basketball vs. JSerra:

Wednesday Jan. 29, the Mater Dei Boys Varsity Basketball Team will compete against JSerra Catholic High School in the Meruelo Athletic Center in a competitive Trinity League game. Both teams have a record of 19 wins and five losses, so this game will surely be a fierce one.
