Father Mark Mary Assembly:

On Friday, Feb. 11, Mater Dei alum Fr. Mark Mary spoke with the entire school about prayer and communication with God. After graduating as a proud alumni, he began his prayer journey leading him to the creation of the top podcast, “A Rosary in a Year”. In addition to the podcast, he is the Director of Communications and the Director of Priestly Studies of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. Through his commitment to prayer and his studies of Sacred Scripture, he had the opportunity to share his knowledge with the rest of the Monarch community.

Varsity Cheer at USA Nationals:

Mater Dei’s Varsity Cheer Team will be attending Nationals on Saturday, Feb. 15. The team has demonstrated so much dedication, hard work, and passion for their sport. We can support our school by visiting the Anaheim Convention Center. This competition is known to be a fierce one, but these Monarchs are ready for it!

Varsity Girls Soccer:

On Friday, Feb. 14, The Mater Dei Girls Soccer Team will continue their CIF journey with a match against Rosary in the playoffs. This game is known to be a fierce one against two Trinity League teams. The game begins at 5 p.m. in Fullerton. Come out to support your girls soccer team!
