Walk in Faith Retreat:
Sunday, Mar. 2, Mater Dei upperclassmen who choose to participate are traveling to Oceanside for the Walk in Faith retreat. Walk in Faith is a three day religious trip whose purpose includes equipping students with the tools to deepen their relationships with themselves, others, and God. This retreat marks the final Walk in Faith of the 2024-2025 school year. The students will return to school on Tuesday, Mar. 4.
Varsity Girls Basketball:
On Wednesday, Mar. 5, the Varsity Girls Basketball Team will be playing a home CIF game against an unknown opponent. The game will begin at 7 p.m. in the Meruelo Athletic Center. Come support our Girls Basketball team as they continue their CIF success!
Ash Wednesday Mass:
Wednesday, Mar. 5, will mark Mater Dei’s celebration of the annual Ash Wednesday Mass. This Mass represents the beginning of the Lenten Season where each student will receive ashes in the shape of a cross on their forehead. During the Lenten season, some aspects of the school day will change, including Friday menu items.
