Celebration of Academic Excellence & 4.0 Stole Ceremony:
Monday, Apr. 14, Mater Dei hosted its annual Celebration of Academic Excellence in the Meruelo Athletic Center. The event recognized Monarchs who earned a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher during the fall semester. Select seniors of the graduating class were also awarded their stole for maintaining this GPA throughout their high school career. Families, faculty members, and staff gathered together to honor the hard work, discipline, and academic achievements of these outstanding students.
All School Mass – Holy Week Mass:
On Tuesday, Apr. 15, Mater Dei held its Holy Week Mass. All students, faculty, and families had the opportunity to attend and celebrate the coming of Easter. Students were required to wear Monarch Professional Dress. All information regarding dress code is provided in the 2024 – 2025 handbook. Additionally, all classes were shortened to 60 minute periods, instead of the usual 75.
V Baseball vs. JSerra:
On Wednesday, Apr. 16, the Mater Dei Varsity Boys Baseball Team will face off against the JSerra Lions in their ninth Trinity League game. The first pitch will be thrown at 6:30 p.m. at the home field. Be sure to show support and cheer on your fellow Monarchs!
