Darlyn Vargas is a freshman and a first-year Staff Reporter for The Scarlet Scroll. She’s a part of the cheer team and instrumental music program at Mater Dei. Her interests include volleyball, hiking, and baking. Darlyn enjoys helping others, getting involved, and being a problem solver. Outside of school she participates in volleyball clubs, piano lessons, and babysits. In her free time she likes going to the beach, gym, and doing pilates. After high school, she would like to go to USC or UCI to get her Bachelor’s degree in public health, and someday become a pediatrician.
