Winter Sports Rally:

On Friday, Dec. 1,  the student body gathered for Mater Dei’s annual Winter Sports rally, recognizing the teams that will be competing in the winter season. This event was filled with exciting games, including a dunk contest by the Boys’ Basketball Team. The Dance Conservatory, Hip Hop Team, and Song Team also performed their routines. 

Christmas at the Corner:

On Sunday, Dec. 3, the Monarch community was invited to Christmas at the Corner. This event showcased a live nativity accompanied with performances by Mater Dei’s Dance Conservatory, Chambers singers, and Instrumental Music. Families also enjoyed festive treats while shopping from vendors selling candles, knitwear, clothing, jewelry, MD swag, and more. 

Christmas Spirit Week:

This week the school is celebrating Christmas Spirit Week. To share in the holiday spirit, students are encouraged to dress up in the daily themes and participate in various lunchtime activities including photo booths, cookie decorating, and ornament decorating. They are also invited to grab free hot chocolate and watch the tree blessing on Wednesday. Make sure to show off your festive cheer this week!
