Sam De Guzman, Staff Reporter
Sam De Guzman is a junior at Mater Dei, and this is her first year as a staff reporter for the Scarlet Scroll. Through the opportunity of sharing her writing, Sam hopes to celebrate the unique stories and perspectives of the Mater Dei community. Outside of Newspaper, Sam is an Honors and AP student, Co-Head Commissioner of the Marketing Team for ASB, and is also involved in choir. By integrating her creative spirit in different aspects of school, Sam aspires to develop a positive impact within the community and continue to grow as an individual. She finds balance through her down time, in which she enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and being surrounded by nature. Sam anticipates the new school year and is excited for all the memories she will make!
