Varsity Boys Soccer CIF Champions:
On Friday, Feb. 23, the Mater Dei Boys Soccer Team celebrated their victory in the CIF-SS Open Division championship game against Arlington High School. Led by Head Soccer Coach Sean Ganey, the team took home the title for the first time since 2021. “I am so proud of all our hard work that brought us to where we are today,” junior Nolan Ruiz said. 

Class Officer Applications:
Class Officer Applications for the 2024-2025 school year are due Feb. 27. This is a great way to be involved at Mater Dei and give back to your school community. If you are interested in a position, please stop by the Activities Office to pick up an application.

Spring Reconciliation Services:
This week, reconciliation services will be held and open to students during their Religion blocks. For those seeking confession and wanting to be closer to God, this time of reconciliation is available during lunch, as well. “Even though we don’t have to, I chose to attend the service because it connects me to my faith,” junior Ava Marks said. “I really appreciate that the school provides us the resources to do so.”
