Choir Spring Concert:

On Thursday, Apr. 11, Mater’s Dei’s Choral and Vocal music program displayed their talents at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. All levels of the The Mater Dei Choir performed by singing various songs for the almost sold out concert. It was a beautiful celebration that highlighted the beauty of the student’s voices and their talent of performing. “I love performing with my fellow choir family,” junior and Bel Canto president Lauren Lee said. “It was an amazing experience that I look forward to every year.”

O.C. Championships Track and Field:

On Saturday, April 13, Varsity Track and Field attended the Orange County Championships Track Meet at Mission Viejo High School. Monarchs participated and excelled in multiple events such as long jump, the 4×1 relay, and many others. The Boys Varsity Track and Field ended up winning the O.C. Championships. “My team did great and we all tried our very best,” junior and Varsity Team Captain Saige Acosta said. 

National Signing Day:

On Wednesday, April 17, students will gather in the MAC for National Signing Day. This is a day for students who are committing to a college for their desired sport to sign a letter of commitment. It also allows other students to support their peers, and congratulate them for all their accomplishments and hard work.
