Ava Gomez, Staff Reporter
Ava Gomez is a junior at Mater Dei, and this is her first year as a staff reporter for The Scarlet Scroll. She enjoys playing tennis and pickle ball in her free time. She also loves writing, and has had a passion for it since she was a kid. Outside of being on the newspaper staff, Ava sings in the choir, is apart of ASB, and does mock trial. She looks forward to a year where she can demonstrate her passion for writing and learn lots of new things.
