Guide to the Presidential Candidates
October 27, 2016
In the political atmosphere, it can be easy to be influenced and pressured by parents, peers or the media. If you are able to vote, it is important to make sure that the person that you are voting for in this election is the person who best represents you, not your parents or peers.
The best way to do this is by simply evaluating yourself and how you feel on social, economic, domestic and environmental issues. The website isidewith.com is a great way to scale how you feel on these issues.

![GET UP Students laugh and dance at a school rally. All the events and rallies hosted by ASB help bring students together and make school an enjoyable place to be. Senior Maddy O’Connor believes ASB keeps everything together and the school spirit alive. “A lot of things wouldn't be as organized [without ASB] and it'd be kind of boring,” O’Connor said. “ASB brings joy to Mater Dei, and pretty much [all things] cool.”](https://thescarletscroll.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/HEIF-Image-1200x800.jpeg)
