Get Ready for the Future

On Tuesday night, Oct. 25, colleges from all around the country and the world gathered in the Meruelo Athletic Center to inform Mater Dei’s students of what they have to offer. Students were able to learn about different colleges and universities that could be a perfect fit for them. Colleges were also able to inform every attendee about why their school is unique, and potentially find some future graduates. This was an eye-opening experience for high school students and their parents to inquire about what they can do to ensure acceptance into the college of their dreams.
![BUILDING THE FUTURE: Plans to build tennis courts and a new Performing Arts Center will be started and completed in the coming years. This will benefit students and athletes alike as they will enhance both the Athletic and Performing Arts Departments and bring much-needed venues and state-of-the-art spaces to campus. “You want to be rooted in that tradition of the school when [it comes to] these projects, we’ve always got to be innovating and moving forward,” Vice President of School Relations Scott Melvin said.
