Pauline Nguyen is a senior and the Marketing Manager and Video Editor for The Scarlet Scroll. In addition to journalism, Pauline is the student videographer of the Monarch’s football team and involved with a variety of clubs. If she’s not somewhere on campus, Pauline can be found volunteering for her parish or brewing up a storm in her kitchen.

WALK IT LIKE I TALK IT: All-Male dances to their own unique medley of songs, "Walk It Talk It" by Migos, "Raf" by A$AP Mob, and "Yes Indeed" by Lil Baby. "As a child I was amazed by live performances and was impressed by the confidence and style dancers had," Gomez said. "... I subconsciously used that as inspiration to have confidence in being myself. Hopefully the children are inspired to do the same."

BUT WHY: Junior Casey Fort and senior Johnathan Lefebvre portray the princes from "Into The Woods" as they sing "Agony."

SAL'S SOLO: Senior Salvador Gomez, co-captain of All-Male Hip-Hop, executes his own choreography, dancing to "All That Matters" by Justin Bieber. "I am thankful Mater Dei Performing Arts gives the students an opportunity to perform for a nonprofit organization because often times we, as artists, get consumed with overworking ourselves,” Gomez said. “But it’s always healthy to take a step back and realize that we’re not artists to ‘make it big’ but to make a difference in our community with our talents.”
