Honors Musical Theatre Showcase:

On Saturday, Feb. 10, Honors Musical Theatre performed in Phillips Hall at Santa Ana College at 7pm. Musical numbers included Another Day of Sun from La La Land, Fearless from Mean Girls, Made in America from Bonnie and Clyde, and Friend Like Me from Aladdin. Junior Natalie Lopez-Schneider shares her favorite part about performing in the showcase. “My favorite part was the dance break we learned for Another Day of Sun. It was really fun and upbeat and got the audience going,” Lopez-Schneider said.

Early Valentine’s Day Dress:

On Tuesday, Feb. 13, students are permitted to wear red or pink with spirit dress bottoms for an early celebration of Valentine’s Day. Be sure that at least half of your outfit is red or pink!

All School Ash Wednesday Mass:

An all school Mass will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 14, to celebrate Ash Wednesday. The Mater Dei community will gather together to celebrate the beginning of Lent. Don’t forget to wear Monarch Professional Dress and prepare yourself for the Lenten season with prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
