Varsity Boys Volleyball vs. Beckman
On Tuesday, Mar. 17, the Mater Dei Varsity Boys Volleyball hosted its sixth game of the season against the Beckman High School. Kicking off at 5:30 p.m. in the Meruelo Athletes Center, the Monarchs secured a 3-2 victory after five sets. Congratulations to the team, and go Monarchs!
Varsity Boys Lacrosse vs. Bishop Moore (FL)
The Varsity Boys Lacrosse team faced off against Bishop Moore Catholic High School from Florida on Tuesday, Mar. 17 at 7:00 p.m at Mater Dei. Although the Monarchs lost 7-10, the team looks to bounce back in its upcoming game on Thursday, Mar. 19, against Mount St. Joseph from Maryland. Good job, boys, and good luck!
Spring Sports Mass
To kick off a successful spring season, Mater Dei hosted its annual Spring Sports Mass at the LeVecke Center. Beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Mar. 18, student-athletes received their blessings as they prepared to represent the school throughout the season. The seasonal sports Masses emphasize Mater Dei’s commitment to guiding students through Catholic faith.
