V Surf All League Championships:

The Mater Dei Surf Team competed in the All League Finals on Wednesday, Jan. 14, marking its first competition since last week’s Winter Rally. The event began at 7:00 a.m. on the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier. Students and families were encouraged to come out and support the Monarchs as they took on this important league matchup.

V Boys Soccer vs. JSerra:

The Varsity Boys Soccer team traveled to face JSerra High School on Wednesday, Jan. 14, in its 10th game of the season. Kickoff was set for 5:30 p.m. at JSerra’s home field. Fans wore red, cheered loudly as the team took home a 1-0 victory.

MD Open House #2:

Mater Dei hosted its second annual Open House on Wednesday, Jan. 14, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The event highlighted Mater Dei’s Catholic identity, academic excellence, and student programs, including Arts, ASB, Athletics, and Campus Ministry. Prospective families had an opportunity to tour campus and meet students, faculty, and coaches.
