Nike Extravaganza
On Friday and Saturday, Jan. 23–24, Mater Dei hosted the annual Nike Extravaganza in the MAC, welcoming the top high school basketball teams around the country. The event featured many competitive matchups between girls’ and boys’ basketball teams. This was an exciting opportunity for students and fans to watch elite matchups in basketball at Mater Dei.

I Thirst Student Conference
On Monday, Jan. 26, Mater Dei students, who wished to, attended the iThirst Student Conference held at Christ Cathedral. The conference focused on personal growth and building a deeper connection with Christ through group discussions, worship, and reflection. This event was meaningful for students to connect with their peers and reflect on their personal journey with Christ.

Senior Interview Day
Mater Dei is hosting Senior Interview Day on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 28–29, providing students with the opportunity to practice interviews with parents and alumni. The event took place in the library and across campus in different classrooms during students’ English classes. This was a valuable experience that provided students with insight for future opportunities as they prepare to graduate high school.
