Kate Wasson, Editor-at-Large
Kate Wasson is a senior at Mater Dei High School and the Editor-at-Large for The Scarlet Scroll. Last year, she was the newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief. In her new role, she is responsible for planning the future of the publication. She specializes in writing about political and current events. Wasson has been studying politics for almost 10 years and aspires to pursue careers in civil and constitutional litigation and politics in Maryland and Washington D.C. Outside the newsroom, Kate is the Pre-Trial Attorney of the Mock Trial Team and the president of the Journalism Club, the Social Justice Club and the Pre-Law Society.
