Oliver Cary, Managing Editor & Senior Assistant to the Advisor
Oliver Cary is a senior at Mater Dei and the Managing Editor & Senior Assistant to the Advisor of The Scarlet Scroll. This being his third year on staff, he cannot wait to share his knowledge to improve the publication. Other than newspaper, Cary is involved in many clubs and loves to volunteer at his local environmental conservation center. Along with being the President of the Journalism Club, Cary enjoys travelling, writing, and playing video games with his friends. After high school, Cary plans to go to college either in the South or the United Kingdom to study medicine.

![NEW AND IMPROVED The projected look of the new Performing Arts Center as envisioned by the Performing Arts Department. This new building, which is going to replace the current Little Theatre and Pavillon, is set to engulf a large portion of the Bristol tent area as well. “Its taking up the Bristol Lot, actually,” Melvin said. “[In] the back, […] there will be eight parking spots. And then [there will] be trees, [along with] parking for the band truck and Mater Dei Television. Theres gonna be all these other trees that are in this beautiful little atrium area for guests.
